Yoana Ruiz Torrijos

Originally from Spain, she is an artist and teacher with a multifaceted background and a deep passion for the performing arts.
Graduated in Tourism and certified as a Spanish language instructor, she moved to Italy in 2015 to pursue her lifelong passion for the circus arts.

She attended several circus schools, specializing in aerial disciplines and developing a refined and personal approach to movement. In 2018, she earned her Aerial Dance Instructor certification and began teaching regularly, also leading aerial silk workshops in Spain and Italy.

She currently holds the Level 3 Aerial Dance Instructor qualification.
Over the years, she has attended numerous workshops in aerial silks, hoop, and trapeze with renowned international teachers, while also expanding her training in yoga, theater, burlesque, acrobatics, and dance.

Since 2021, she has served as the International Head and Representative of the Aerial Dance Division for the World Dance Competition Peoples & Cultures.
Since 2024, she has also collaborated with the theater company L’Annello, combining technique and interpretation in artistic projects that merge dance, acrobatics, and stage storytelling.
