
Acrobat, circus artist, gymnast. Began studying acrobatics for competitions in Bulgaria in 1975, specializing in various disciplines (acrobatics: male pairs, female pairs, female trio, mixed pairs, male quartet, tumbling, trampoline), with further training in classical and modern dance.
In 1979 he won the Bulgarian championship in male pairs at the 5th Bulgarian National Spartakiad held in Ruse, Bulgaria.
He competed in the Bulgarian National Championship in male quartet, earning two gold medals, four silver, and three bronze.
In 1982 he moved to Moscow to attend the State Academy of Circus and Theatrical Arts, where he studied for four years and graduated as a Circus Artist with excellent results across 23 subject exams and 3 National exams, holding diploma No. 035760, registered with the Civil Court of Verona, PROT. No. 1488/2017 APO, specializing in balance work, competitive sport acrobatics, and performance-oriented acrobatics for the entertainment world.
During his studies, he attended the Academy’s professional workshops every year at the Moscow State Circus and the Bolshoi Theatre.
From 1986 to 1988 he completed compulsory military service as a non-commissioned infantry officer.
In 1989 he began his professional career with the Sofia State Circus (Bulgaria), which engaged him for various tours with numerous Bulgarian circuses. During this period he attended continuing education courses in sport acrobatics at the Bulgarian University Institute of Sport.
From 1991 he began touring Europe with several European circuses — the Budapest State Circus, Circus Busch in Germany, and the Hansa-Variete Theatre in Hamburg.
In 1992 he moved to Italy, working as an acrobat in bascule, Russian swing, balance work, and high-wire tightrope walking with the historic Circo Tribertis, with whom he remained associated until 2000, performing throughout Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.
During this time he also performed as an artist in Gala Concert shows in Paris, France, and in amusement park shows in Denmark. Still with Circo Tribertis, he specialized as a rigging technician for tensile structures used at trade fairs and major events.
Since 2005 he has been a professional teacher of acrobatics and balance work at the Verona Academy of Circus Arts, directed by Maestro Egidio Palmiri, with artistic direction by Andrea Togni. He teaches specialized courses in acrobatics, aerial fabric, aerial hoop, balance/hand-balancing, tumbling, and two-person trapeze, and guides students of various ages (children from age 7, teenagers, and adults) through their diploma path. Since 2006, he has collaborated with director and actor Roberto Tottola and the Punto in Movimento theatre association as an actor and acrobatics/circus arts expert for productions still in the current repertoire: Macbeth by W. Over the years he has kept up to date with technical and judging qualifications for competitive acrobatics (Acrosport): Tumbling, Esy Gym, Teamgym, Mini Trampoline, and Cheerleading (acrobatic component) at the Italian Federation of Acrobatic and Choreographic Sports (FISAC), where he serves as technical manager. He has collaborated with various sports clubs, including ASD Diaz Accademy, ASD Idrostar, ASD Ginnastica Oleggio, ASD Laudense, ASD Europa 93, ASD Athena 2, and ASD Airone Mantova in the field of AcroSport.
He works closely with the German club SAV Mainz–Laubenheim, bringing Italian clubs there since 2015 for the international Gutenberg Pokal competition. Since that same year, he has also organized the FISAC AcroSport International Club Cup for the federation, an event attended by teams from countries including Austria, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Hungary, Germany, England, Switzerland, Portugal, the USA, and Puerto Rico.
