REGULATIONS – LATIN SHOW
1. Introduction to the Discipline
The Latin Show discipline combines the energy of Latin dances with the expressive power of choreographic performance.
It is allowed only in Solo, Duo, or Group formats.
Traditional couple dances are not permitted.
Latin Show includes: Samba, Cha Cha, and Rumba.
Within the discipline, performances are divided into three choreographic specialties:
Synchro Dance
Choreographic Dance
Show Dance
2. Specialties
• Synchro Dance (Groups / Duo)
All performers execute perfectly synchronized movements in the same directions, maintaining the formation for the entire duration of the performance.
All Latin-American styles are allowed, without holds or physical contact between dancers.
A free final variation is allowed in the last 10 seconds.
In Synchro Duo, two dancers (male/female or same gender) perform identical movements in full synchronization, without contact or variations.
⚠️ Scenic elements and the entrance of external people onto the stage are not allowed.
• Choreographic Dance
A natural evolution of synchronized dance.
Groups must start with differentiated formations and use choreographic patterns that include division into multiple subgroups.
⚠️ Any form of hold or physical contact is strictly forbidden.
⚠️ Placing objects/accessories on the floor is not allowed (even if they are part of the costume).
Only the last 10 seconds may be free.
• Show Dance
