Gino Labate, Artistic Director and faculty member at the Barcelona Dance Project, is a prominent and internationally acclaimed figure in the world of dance. Trained at the prestigious Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome, he has built his career as a Principal Dancer and Soloist in major international theatres, standing out for his technical precision and expressive elegance alongside legendary icons of dance.
With over fifteen editions of experience in directing renowned festivals, Labate has successfully combined choreographic art with a strong social commitment, bringing his works to prestigious stages worldwide. A pioneer in education, he is the creator in Italy of a teacher training program based on the Cuban Classical Dance Methodology, a system that demands the highest level of dedication and pedagogical precision.
As the European Representative for Dance Open America, he continues to promote the values of discipline and commitment, passionately guiding the evolution of new generations of dancers on the global stage.
