Since the age of 8, I began my career in figure skating, performing on national stages and competing across Mexico, as well as working as a coach for five years. Later, I devoted myself to the circus arts, starting my career in Playa del Carmen with fire, aerial, and Cyr wheel performances in tourist resorts. I was the founder and president of “Circolo Circo Social,” a civic association dedicated to developing social intervention projects, creating workshops, shows, and competitions that foster community cohesion and help reduce violence rates, in collaboration with both private and governmental sectors. During this time, I also participated in national and international programs for five years.
I am currently a humanistic psychologist specializing in topics related to sexuality and brief intervention dynamics. I serve as the artistic director and coach at La Chiesa Firenze. I have more than 15 years of experience in the circus arts, through which I have performed with groups, companies, and soloists at regional, national, and international levels, as well as conducted workshops and classes in several European countries — including Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, and Greece — and in the Americas (Mexico and the United States).
“I believe that the circus is a universal language through which we can share our life experiences without using words, and through which we can build a great, unique, diverse, and supportive community.”
