
REGULATION: FANTASY
1. Introduction to the discipline
The Fantasy discipline enhances the dancers’ creativity, who through choreography must tell a story with a clear beginning and end. The dance can draw from any existing style or from imaginary movements, giving space to expressiveness, interpretation, and originality.
2. Admitted categories

Promozionale: 6–7 years

Mini: 8–9 years

Youth: 10–12 years

Junior: 13–16 years

Adults: 17–25 years

Senior: 25+
3. Technical and artistic rules

Acrobatic and gymnastic elements are allowed only when in contact with the floor, with no flight phase.

The inclusion of such elements is optional and does not affect the jury’s evaluation.

The choreography must always be consistent with the chosen theme, also communicated through costumes and scenography.

Small props and scenographic elements are allowed, provided they are carried and managed directly by the dancers.

Final only: the use of a video related to the story is permitted, projected on a big screen (required format: MP4).
4. Participation rules
Refer to the rules indicated in the General Regulation.
5. Evaluation criteria
The jury will mainly evaluate:

Originality and creativity of the choreography.

Narrative capacity (story with beginning and end).

Expressiveness and interpretation.

Coherence of costumes and props.

Overall quality and balance of the performance.
