ACCESS TO THE FINAL THROUGH SCHOLARSHIP FROM SELECTIONS

According to the regulations, for Italy only scholarship winners won in the many selection stages will be able to participate. For participants from other nations via scholarships or directly via written request sent to info@worldancecompetition.it

ACCESS TO THE FINAL WITH VIDEO ENTRY

This type of selection will be opened only if there are places available, giving the opportunity firstly to all schools already in possession of a scholarship, who want to broaden their participation to other students, and then to other schools.

The cost of video entry:

solo choreography, 30 euros
step by step 40 euros
small or large group 60 euros.
Does not include registration for the final phase in case of qualification. The video will be examined by the Technical Commission.

It will be necessary to upload the video of the choreography to the YouTube platform and send the link or send it in MP4 format via email to segreteria@worldancecompetition.it

Participation in the Italian selections is open to members of AICS and other Promotional Bodies and Federations, aged 6 and over who are in possession of a medical certificate of sporting fitness suitable for the event.

Jazz and Jazz Broadway Style Regulations

The Jazz and Jazz Broadway Style dance style brings together all the variations of Jazz, from the 1930s style to the more swing variations, to the Fosse style, up to the choreographies of the Musical repertoire.

The use of shoes (Jazz or Dance shoes or Cuccarini or Parisi shoes, in any case adhering to the proposed style) is mandatory. The costumes must also adhere to the style proposed by the choreography.

It is important to include typical elements of Jazz technique, including technical steps and a choreographic movement that reflects the style and uses the space in the most appropriate and complete way possible.

The possibility of including virtuosity and acrobatic elements within the choreography is permitted, as long as they are not the main element of the choreography.

The use of objects and props and small scenography elements is permitted (such as chairs or clothes hangers for example)

Also permitted for Jazz and Jazz Broadway Style are:
- Solos
- Pass de deux

- Small groups

- Large groups

of all categories admitted for other dance styles.
