Gaia Berretti

Gaia Berretti began dancing at the age of three, exploring a wide range of disciplines including Caribbean dances, Latin American dances, Standard dances, Ballroom, and Choreographic Dance. At the age of seven, she discovered Oriental Dance, the discipline on which she chose to focus her artistic and competitive career.

Throughout her career, she has become a 24-time Italian Champion and Italian Absolute Champion. In 2025, she achieved an outstanding milestone by winning all five Italian national titles in their respective Oriental Dance disciplines.

Internationally, she has been a European Championship semifinalist, a World Championship finalist, and the IDO Mediterranean Cup Champion in Greece. She has also earned numerous awards at major Oriental Dance festivals, including winning the prestigious Anastasia Borisova Crown and being crowned Queen of Live Improvisation four times.

In 2026, Gaia entered the Professional Division and earned her qualification as an IDO National Judge, further confirming her professional growth and expertise in the field.

Alongside her competitive career, she works as a teacher and choreographer at the Ago e Gabri Dance School, where she trains dancers who have achieved remarkable results at both national and international levels, reaching the highest podiums within the federation.

She is also the organizer of the Northern stage of the Oriental Star Circuit (CIBS), actively contributing to the promotion and development of Oriental Dance through the organization of prestigious events.

With passion, dedication, and a continuous commitment to artistic research, Gaia combines her competitive experience with teaching, coaching new dancers, and event organization, promoting Oriental Dance with professionalism and a strong focus on artistic excellence.
