World Dance Competition is an event organized by
1. Purpose
The WDC Social Contest was created to highlight the creativity, energy, and passion of the schools participating in the World Dance Competition 2025, inviting them to share their experience during the event through official social media channels.
The goal is to celebrate dance beyond the stage — sharing emotions, backstage moments, smiles, and team spirit.
2. Who Can Participate
Participation is open exclusively to schools registered and attending the event in Montecatini Terme from December 1st to Event Days December 6th to 8th, 2025.
Each school may submit one or more posts, as long as they comply with the rules below.
3. How to Participate
To take part, each school must:
- Post a photo or video on the school’s official Instagram account from 1° December and during the event days (December 6–8).
- Use the official hashtag:
👉 #WDCSocialContest2025 - Tag the official event account:
👉 @worlddancecompetition - Include the school’s name and competition category in the post or caption.
Participation is open to all types of creative content: backstage moments, team photos, choreography clips, interviews, flash mobs, or any post that captures the event’s spirit.
4. Creative Guidelines
This year’s theme is:
✨ “Show Your Dance Energy!”
Each school is invited to express its energy, creativity, and team spirit in the most original way possible.
Suggestions:
- Fun or emotional backstage moments
- Preparation or team clips
- Mini choreographies or creative poses
- Reactions after performances
- Shots that capture the journey or the city of Montecatini Terme
5. Duration
The contest will be active from December 1st to December 8th, 2025 (until 12:00 p.m.).
Entries posted outside these dates will not be considered valid.
6. Evaluation and Award
Entries will be evaluated by a jury panel composed of members of the WDC Communication Team, based on the following criteria:
- Creativity and originality (40%)
- Artistic quality and visual impact (30%)
- Consistency with the theme “Show Your Dance Energy!” (20%)
- Social engagement and interaction (10%)
🏆 Award:
Best Social School 2025
The winning school will be announced on the official WDC channels and will receive a special mention, an interview with a Media Partner channel, and a trophy during the final ceremony.
7. Rights and Permissions
By participating, schools authorize AICS / World Dance Competition to share, repost, and use the submitted content for promotional purposes related to the event, in full respect of copyright and image rights.
8. Exclusions
Entries will not be considered if they are:
- Published from private or non-public profiles;
- Contain language or imagery not aligned with the event’s code of ethics;
- Missing the required hashtag or tag.
