HEELS

1. Discipline Description
A dance discipline that blends multiple styles and is characterized by the use of high heels. Technical movements and attire must be consistent with the style, enhancing creativity and sensuality without ever being excessively explicit. Fluid and natural movements are allowed, always maintaining elegance and control. Stage costumes must be respectful, appropriate, and tasteful.

2. Lighting and Stage Management
Performances will not be carried out under plain white lighting but will be lit and managed by the technical direction according to television production requirements.

3. Allowed Categories

  • Soloists

  • Pas de deux

  • Duos

  • Small groups (3 to 6 dancers)

  • Large groups (7 to 28 dancers)

4. Age Limits and Medical Certificate
Participation is open to dancers aged 16 and over, holding a valid medical certificate for competitive sports suitable for the event.

  • 16 years old: Junior

  • 17–25 years old: Adults

  • Over 25 years old: Seniors

5. Duration and Stage Rules
The maximum performance time follows the guidelines stated in the General Regulations, depending on the category.
Scenic props are allowed, provided they can be easily and quickly placed and removed.
The use of liquids, slippery substances, or materials that may damage the stage is strictly prohibited.

6. Judging and Evaluation
The evaluation will follow the criteria of the General Regulations, considering:

  • Technique

  • Interpretation

  • Musicality

  • Consistency with the style

  • Stage impact
